Our People
GG Consulting LLC was started by Gary Guber, M.A. in 1988. His brother Randy Guber partnered with Gary in 1996. Together, they have created, developed and, today, maintain a variety of programs that are now used by nearly half the school districts in Texas.
Marketing
Rolando Ocanas
Rolando joined GG Consulting in 2008 as Director of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining GG Consulting, he was the Director of Special Education for 6 years in the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City school district and also practiced as an LSSP and Special Education Counselor for several years before entering administration. Rolando was a Special Education Manager user since 1998 and was involved in the program implementation in two districts since that time. Rolando is based in San Antonio, TX.
Corporate
Marlinda Potter
Marlinda started with GG Consulting in October 2005 as the receptionist and administrative assistant. She is responsible for coordinating the GG Consulting technical support center. She is also responsible for updating clients’ information, copying, faxing, and general office responsibilities. Marlinda is based in Boulder, CO.
Susan Howard
Susan started with GG Consulting in January 2009. She formerly worked as a secretary in Schertz-Cibolo ISD. Her primary responsibility is sales and marketing assistance and accounts receivable. Susan is based in St. Hedwig, TX.
Program Managers
Anita Barsalou, LSSP
Anita is the Program Manager of the SEM software. She began working for GG Consulting, LLC in October 2005. She is also responsible for training and technical support. Prior to working for GG Consulting, Anita was a Special Education Manager user for seven years in New Braunfels ISD and an LSSP for 13 years. Anita is based in Bulverde, TX.
Denise Watson, M.Ed.
Denise joined GG Consulting in February 2007 as a trainer and technical support specialist. She is now Program Manager of the (SA)2 software. Prior to joining GG Consulting, she worked for one of the largest school districts in Texas. Denise has a background in Special Education, Curriculum Instruction and Technology with experience as a teacher, technologist and coordinator/specialist. Denise is based in San Antonio, TX.
Shannon Chauvin, LSSP, MSCIS
Shannon is the Program Manager for the (SM)2 software. She began working for GG Consulting in June 2007. She is also responsible for training and technical support. Prior to working for GG Consulting, Shannon was an I-Suite user for four years in Hays CISD and an LSSP for 10 years. She has a Masters of Science in Computer Info Systems. Shannon is based in Kyle, TX.
Mellony Deuel
Mellony joined GG Consulting in January 2010 as a trainer and technical specialist. Prior to working for GG Consulting, Mellony utilized the Special Education Manager for 10 years in NorthEast ISD in her role as Compliance Specialist. She has also functioned as a Special
Education Coordinator, Special Education and General Education teacher. In addition to education, she also has a degree in Computer Information Systems. Mellony is based in Allen, TX.
Rhonda Simpson
Rhonda joined the GG Consulting team in 2010 as Associate of Sales and Marketing, Trainer and Technical Support. She had been a client of GG Consulting since 1999. Her first experience in the program was as an Educational Diagnostician. She has taught at SFSU as a university instructor. As a Supervisor of Special Education, Rhonda headed the district’s implementation of the program and oversaw the system’s maintenance. Most recent and prior to joining GG Consulting, Rhonda was the Special Education Director for Ennis ISD. Rhonda is based in Ennis, Texas.
Software Programmers
Jim Murphy
Jim joined GG Consulting in January 2005. He has experience with both the corporate sector as well as Texas school systems. Jim worked for Region 16 ESC and for CFB-ISD as a programmer, trainer, member of technical support, and network administrator. In his current role with GG Consulting, he performs programming and provides technical support for various applications. Jim is based in Ennis, TX.
Bruce Boyd
Bruce started working for GG Consulting in August 2006 as a part-time programmer. He has been programming computers for nearly 25 years. Bruce is based in Boulder, CO.
Technical Support
Jeff Scherer
Jeff began working for GG Consulting in early 2001. He was the technical support person for Special Education Manager at a Texas school district prior to becoming GG Consulting’s technical support. Jeff is based in Burleson, TX.
Misti Weisinger
Misti started with GG Consulting in early 2003. She formerly worked with Special Education Manager at a Texas school district for five years. Her primary responsibility is technical support. Misti is based in Gilmer, TX.
Bruce Bell
Bruce began working for GG Consulting in summer 2008 following graduation from high school where his focus was on computing. Bruce is also based in Burleson, TX.
Terryle Martinez
Terryle started with GG Consulting in February 2007. She formerly worked with Special Education Manager at a Texas school district for four years. Her primary responsibility is technical support. Terryle is based in Crosby, TX.
Dena Simonek
Dena started with GG Consulting in February 2008. She formerly worked with Special Education Manager at a Texas school district for six years. Her primary responsibility is technical support. Dena is based in Wills Point, TX.
Sam North
Sam has over 15 years of experience in the Information Systems field, with diversified experience in account management, technical support and business management. At McAfee, Inc. Sam supported global enterprise accounts and ultimately managed the worldwide support and services group for several years before joining Integrated Business Solutions. At this fast growing startup, specializing in IT solutions, he helped grow the business year over year for several years while increasing customer satisfaction and retention. In 2010 he joined the GG Consulting team as a member of the technical services group and currently resides in Plano, Texas.
Cindy
Cindy started with GG Consulting in May 2010. She formerly worked with Special Education Manager at a Texas school district for four years. Her primary responsibility is technical support. Cindy is based in Sealy, TX.
Damaris
Damaris began working for GG Consulting in May 2010. She was formerly the technical support person for Special Education Manager at a Texas school district for 8 ½ years. Her primary responsibility is technical support. Damaris is based in Hope, TX.
